A clear process,
start to finish.
Medical travel can feel overwhelming. Restora exists to make it straightforward. Here is exactly what happens when you work with us.
How dental implant coordination works — from case review to recovery.
The process starts with a short form. You tell us what procedure you need, share any dental records or X-rays you have, and give us a sense of your timeline. If you don't have recent X-rays, we can coordinate that too. There is no cost to apply and no obligation.
Step 1 — You submit your intake form
We review your dental records, X-rays, and the information you provided. If we need anything else, we’ll let you know. There’s no cost for the review and no obligation to proceed.
Step 2 — We review your case
We introduce you to your care team at Solside Dental and coordinate your initial consultation. You are never left to navigate the clinic or understand your treatment alone. All communication goes through Restora — you always have a single point of contact who speaks your language, knows your case, and explains everything clearly.
Step 3 — We connect you with the clinic
Once the clinic has reviewed your records, they provide a full treatment plan and cost breakdown. We explain everything in plain language and answer your questions before you commit to anything.
Step 4 — Your treatment is planned
We book your flights, arrange your accommodation through our travel partners, and coordinate every detail before you leave home. You receive a full itinerary. All you need to do is pack and show up.
Step 5 — You travel
Your appointments are confirmed, your care team is ready, and we've made sure the clinic has everything they need before you walk in. You focus on the treatment. We're available throughout your stay if anything comes up.
Step 6 — You have your procedure
Recovery is part of the process, not an afterthought. Your accommodation is arranged through our travel partners — a short walk from the clinic, the beach, grocery stores, and a pharmacy. Our nursing team is on hand throughout your recovery. We also coordinate post-surgical nutrition so your body has what it needs to heal properly. You rest. We manage everything around you.
Step 7 — You recover in comfort
Your care doesn't end when you board your flight. We stay in contact through your recovery, help you communicate with the clinic if any questions come up, and make sure your follow-up care is handled properly.
Step 8 — You return home
Typical timeline:
First trip — 7 to 14 days in Costa Rica for surgery and initial recovery.
Healing period — 4 to 6 months at home while implants integrate with bone.
Second trip — 3 to 5 days to receive your permanent teeth.
